Net Service, as the mandatary within the Temporary Grouping of Companies led by IBM Italia (principal) and composed of Telecom Italia, Leonardo, Deloitte Consulting, Sistemi Informativi, N&C, Intelligo, Webgenesys, Engage, Jakala Civitas, and We-Com (mandataries), announces that it has been awarded, along with the other selected RTIs, the effective adjudication pursuant to Article 17, paragraph 5, of Legislative Decree No. 36/2023 and subsequent amendments, related to the Framework Agreement for cloud-based application services for Local Public Administrations – Lot 1.

The Framework Agreement has a total value of €1.5 billion and a duration of 24 months, during which Public Administrations will be able to sign contracts with the awarded RTIs for a maximum duration of 60 months.

A strategic initiative for digital transformation in the Public Administration

Aligned with the guidelines of the Three-Year Plan for IT in the Public Administration and the implementation of the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), this initiative serves as a key tool to:

• Develop user-centered application solutions, designed around the needs of citizens and businesses, enabling the digital transformation of the Public Administration.
• Promote the adoption of innovative and inclusive digital services, leveraging emerging technologies to improve quality of life and enhance business competitiveness.
• Encourage the adoption of standards and foster innovation, accelerating the modernization of digital solutions and services within the PA through experimentation and new technological approaches.
• Provide specialized support to Public Administrations, offering expertise in Program Management and IT contract management, ensuring effective implementation of the initiative.

As part of this initiative, Net Service S.p.A. will contribute its highly specialized expertise in Application Development, Cloud, and Cybersecurity to support the redesign and development of Public Administration applications, following a Cloud First and Security by Design approach.
