Net Service supports the conference “Female Leadership in the Third Millennium” organized by ADEC and FIDAPA.

Net Service is among the companies promoting the conference "Female Leadership in the Third Millennium: Obstacles, Challenges, Opportunities," organized by ADEC (Association for Law, Ethics, and Culture) and FIDAPA (Italian Federation of Women in Arts, Professions, and Business), to be held on October 19, 2024, in Bologna at the Stabat Mater Hall in the Palazzo dell'Archiginnasio.

The conference will be coordinated by Carla Faralli, Emeritus Professor at the University of Bologna, and will begin at 9:00 a.m. with opening remarks from Giovanna Degli Esposti, President of FIDAPA Bologna, Sandro Callegaro, President of ADEC, and Elisabetta Gregoric, President of the FIDAPA North East District and Project Manager of “The Laboratory on Quantitative Sustainability.”

Starting at 9:30 a.m., the conference will feature numerous prominent figures from various sectors, including academia, institutions, business, and culture. Judges, museum directors, business leaders, sports professionals, and journalists will share their experiences and reflections on female leadership. This event presents an important opportunity to reflect on the challenges and opportunities that women face in the workplace, a topic that Net Service actively supports through its commitment to gender equality. The company has always promoted gender equality policies, ensuring equal career and growth opportunities for women, as well as greater pay equity. This commitment was recently certified with the achievement of the UNI/PDR 125:2022 certification, a recognition that highlights Net Service's ongoing efforts to create an inclusive and diverse workplace.

Net Service stands out not only for its attention to female representation but also for its inclusion in key roles. Women make up 27% of the company's workforce, and 42% of Project Manager, Program Manager, and Solution Architect roles are held by women. The focus on younger generations is also a priority, with women under 30 accounting for 25% of the company's young talent.

In line with the commitment of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), which allocates over 20% of its resources (around 38.5 billion euros) to initiatives aimed at reducing the gender gap, Net Service supports such initiatives with the goal of improving opportunities for women in various fields and contributing to a more equitable and inclusive future of work.
