DESCRIPTION: The project aims to strengthen the relationship of trust between the consumer and the entire agri-food chain, enhancing high quality agricultural work to guarantee the food safety of citizens. To achieve this goal, Flosslab proposes CAFCha, a platform that, through the use of Blockchain technology and the eventual deanonymization of the addresses contained therein, allows to certify with a very high level of security, reliability and transparency the transactions within the agri-food supply chains, allowing the final consumer to have transparent and autonomous access to the information related to the origin of the purchased product.

A NEW TRACEABILITY SYSTEM

CAFCha – Certification of AgriFood Chain is the platform, designed by FlossLab in January 2018, that allows the final consumer to trace all the information concerning the origin of the food product purchased, in a fast, transparent and autonomous manner.

The project is funded by Sardegna Ricerche within the POR FESR Sardegna 2014-2020 and is available to all companies in the agri-food sector interested in making their raw materials traceability a fundamental point.

Certified trust

The platform allows, through the use of Blockchain technology and the eventual de-anonymization of the addresses contained therein, to certify transactions within the agri-food supply chains, ensuring a very high level of security, reliability and transparency.


In this way it becomes possible to strengthen the relationship of trust between the consumer and the agri-food supply chain, while at the same time enhancing high quality agricultural work and guaranteeing food security for citizens.
